The Tekes Board of Directors decided to launch the Learning Solutions programme at its meeting of 16th February, 2011. The objective of the programme is to develop internationally important learning solutions in cooperation with participants in the sector, to develop new operating approaches, create new skills and develop products, services and comprehensive packages for international markets.
Finland has top class skills and solutions for developing skills and learning. Finland has an extremely good international reputation for teaching which, among other things, is based on its good level of success in the PISA assessments.
Digitalisation has enabled the development of new ways of operating, new products, services and comprehensive packages.
“Concrete cooperation is needed to exploit all this skill. The Learning Solutions programme will combine learning from educational institutions, corporate solutions as well as the development of research based skills.” explains Eero Silvennoinen, Tekes’ Director of Information Technology.
