TECTERRA Announces Open Call For Proposals for Funding Geomatics Commercialization in Canada

  • Rating12345

TECTERRA announced today the opening of a new Call For Proposals (CFP) providing an ongoing opportunity of geomatics commercialization funding for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Canada. There will be several application review dates announced throughout the coming year, with the first being January 20, 2011. TECTERRA’s industry funding program enables and supports the development and commercialization of geomatics solutions for integrated resource management in energy, forestry, agriculture, environment, land management and land development.

“Our goal is to share and support the vision of SMEs in Canada that have high potential for commercial success with their geomatics innovation,” says Richard Gorecki, TECTERRA’s Director of Commercialization.  “TECTERRA’s Industry Partnership Program, and this open CFP in particular, are designed to be a catalyst for that success.”

Successful applicants under this CFP will receive direct commercialization project funding ranging from $50,000 to $300,000.  Those interested in being considered for the first review of this funding opportunity should submit an Expression of Interest prior to January 20, 2011. Read More
