Questions on Climate-change Minister’s Trip to Canada

Questions have been raised about the value of sending a minister and two officials to a climate change conference in Canada. Environment Minister John Griffiths, a policy official and a private secretary will travel from Cardiff to Quebec City for the three-day conference which begins on August 29. A statement of information issued by the Welsh Government says: “As a member of the Network of Regional Governments for Sustainable Development (nrg4SD), the Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development has been invited to the Steering Committee and General Assembly meetings on August 29-31 in Quebec City, Canada by Pierre Arcand, Quebec Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development and Maruxa Cardama, general secretary of nrg4SD. Read More
