Oil&Gas: New flowlines for Tordis

Two flowlines linking subsea installations on the Tordis field in the North Sea (Illus.) with the Gullfaks C platform are to be replaced by operator Statoil after scheduled inspections found corrosion. Statoil is joining forces with its licence partners to procure the new links, with replacement of the first planned for the second half of this year and the other in the first half of 2012.
