Master Plan to Boost Growth of Kenyan Urban Areas

KENYA DAILY NATION – An ambitious strategy to guide the planning, development and growth of towns has been unveiled. The government initiative, is to enable all urban centres exploit their potential irrespective of size or location. Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi said it will be required, as a matter of public policy, that any physical development such as transport, health, education or housing facilities in towns must be consistent with such plans.
