Germany and France Eye Naval Shipyards Merger

As per report, ThyssenKrupp, French naval shipyard DCNS and the two governments plan to hold talks after the summer break to revive the idea of creating a pan-European military shipbuilding alliance. ThyssenKrupp said that its marine systems division was not holding any talks currently with DCNS on the merger of their marine shipbuilding operations.
