Egypt: New Water, Sanitation Company to be Formed in Suez Canal

The cabinet under Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif has decided to establish a company to undertake water and sanitary drainage services in the Suez Canal area. The new company will work under the umbrella of an organizational body to be affiliated to the Housing Ministry, Cabinet Spokesman Magdi Radi said. The meeting was attended by Finance Minster Youssef Boutros Ghali, Housing Minister Ahmed el-Maghrabi and Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Ahmed Ali Fadel.
