The Global Space and Satellite Forum 2011 is hosting the second European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), which aims to encourage entrants to use technology in innovative ways. The MENA leg of the competition is being run by the Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF). The kick-off event is being held on the third day of GSSF and will allow competitors to learn more about the principles of Global Navigation and Satellite Systems (GNSS) and how its services can be applied in supporting various aspects of growth within the region. It will include a discussion of GNSS applications, including GPS.
