  • Rating12345

Supergeo Technologies announced that Woods Hole Group Middle East, U.A.E, purchased SuperGIS Desktop 3 based on the recommendation of Evolving GeoSystems to carry out coastal and oceanographic projects such as coastal management, environmental assessment & remediation, and oceanography & measurement.

Since its founding in 1986, Woods Hole Group has concentrated on applying scientific and engineering approaches to support governments and private enterprises such as offshore energy industry in running ongoing oceanographic and coastal projects, offering feasible solutions to meet the challenges of environmental problems worldwide.

In this procurement, SuperGIS Desktop 3 is employed to develop an integrated geovisualization GIS platform for researchers to define the values of data and carry out spatial analyses for investigating naturally occurring phenomenon in the ocean and consequently producing effective solutions to ensure the long-term sustainability of the ocean resources.

To widely promote SuperGIS software to GIS users in the Middle East, Supergeo will exhibit at Middle East Geospatial Forum in March and recognize the client who demonstrated its practical and innovative solutions/services with SuperGIS software by giving SuperGIS Application Excellence Award of 2012.
