£400m Subway Upgrade on Track to Start Next Year

GLASGOW EVENING TIMES – Hopes are high that a final plan will be complete by the end of this year to allow an early decision and work to start as soon as possible. It would be the first significant modernisation in more than 30 years. Glasgow SNP MSP Bob Doris met with Transport Minister Stewart Stevenson, to discuss the plan and ask him to back the proposal. The modernisation, if approved, will see new track, tunnel upgrades, station improvements and new hi-tech driverless trains introduced. Read More
