Asian countries should focus on connecting with one another through pan-Asian infrastructure systems to create more benefits for their populations, the Asian Development Bank and ADB Institute has suggested. The inadequacies of Asia’s infrastructure networks are a bottleneck to growth, a threat to competitiveness and an obstacle to poverty reduction, said an ADB-funded study entitled ”Infrastructure for a Seamless Asia”.
