Bulgaria Marks World Environment Day

SOFIA BULGARIA –  Bulgaria and countries around the globe mark Saturday, June 5, World Environment Day (WED), under the patronage of the United Nations. In Bulgaria, the Ministry of Environment has organized several large-scale national campaigns. Environment Minister, Nona Karadzhova, and the Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova, are launching the events in Sofia’s South Park, and greeting volunteers.
