Builder Erects Last Beam of 2nd Bulgaria-Romania Danube Bridge

Spanish construction company FCC has erected the last pole of the so calledDanube Bridge 2, the so second bridge linking Bulgaria and Romania across the Danube. The last beam of the Vidin-Calafat bridge completed on Wednesday is 44.76 m in height, the FCC company said. The builder is working on completing the bridge platform, the road lanes, and the railway line. As of the end of February 2011, Danube Bridge 2 has been completed at 72%. Read More
