IBGE reveals today, November 4, the resident population in each of the 5.565 Brazilian municipalities on August 1st, 2010, according to the results of the 2010 Population Census, carried out from August 1st to October 31, which enumerated 185,712,713 people in the whole Brazil.

These results will be presented to city halls through a written notice by IBGE and during meetings of the State Census Commissions (CCE) and the Municipal Commissions of Geography and Statistics (CMGE), where possible doubts may be resolved.
