Southern Jutland Eyed as New Oil Field

COPENHAGEN POST – Danish state oil company Nordsøfonden has teamed up with Polish oil company PGNiG to start drilling a test well between in southern Jutland between the towns of Aabenraa and Sønderborg. PGNiG last autumn examined the underground in the area and based on a detailed 3D map created from the results, it has concluded that there is sufficient reason to start digging.
