Many Parts of Finland Record Coldest December in More Than 30 Years

According to the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI), the current December has been the coldest since 1978 in southern and central parts of Finland. In the monitoring period of 50 years, this December was the third coldest on record in these areas. The lowest temperature recorded was below – 36°C. The reading was taken in Utsjoki in the most northerly part of Finland on December 19th. Read More
