GUtech Students Study Dhofar’s Growth Options

First year students of the Department of Sustainable Tourism and Regional Development (STRD) at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), along with two of their professors, recently made a three-day field trip to the Dhofar region.  “Students in our department study the regional development options with a special focus on tourism. The main objective of the excursion was to introduce our students to the Dhofar region and to assess together the available options for economic regional development,” said Professor Heba Aziz, Head of the STRD Department.  Read More
