One of the largest offsite meetings on the Arctic was held in the Nenets Autonomous District by the Russian Security Council. Today, the Arctic territory is considered a zone of interest by several countries. And they are no longer simply claiming the Arctic shelf, but Russia’s Northern Sea Route as well.
