It has been with great pleasure that the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning has worked side by side with the World Road Association over the past three years to ensure the success of the 23rd World Road Congress. This Congress would not have been so successful without your presence. More than 5000 of you as participants (Congress participants and exhibitors) came together for five days of interaction around the theme of sustainable development. We offer you our warm thanks for your participation! The objective was that this Congress should constitute an important step for the road and road transport community on the path to sustainable development. Judging from the contents of presentations, the exhibition and technical visits, it is clear that the actors of the world road community are keenly aware of this issue and of their responsibilities in the matter.
