Central Australia to Host World’s Largest Carbon Farm

Back home now and a new carbon abatement project in Central Australia is being touted as a large scale experiment in agricultural emissions trading. The Federal Government has announced it will fund two thirds of the purchase price of Henbury Station to help transform it into the world’s largest carbon farm. The agricultural company, RM Williams, will contribute the remainder of the $13 million purchase price.
