The Lagos State Government is poised to revolutionalise its land administration system, infrastructure provision and development by the planned opening of the state’s Geographic Information system (GIS/Digital Mapping) project on March 7. In a chat with The Nation, Special Adviser to Governor Babatunde Fashola on Mapping/Geographic Information System Project, Mr Monsurudeen Durowoju, said the GIS technology is a modern way of managing geographic and land-related resources to provide integrated decision support systems to policy makers.
