Traffic Police to Use Hi-tech Phones to Cut Roadblocks

Tanzania Police Force has resolved to use ‘special Black Berry’ mobile phones to reduce the number of roadblocks in efforts to ease cargo transportation within the country to neighbouring states.  The present roadblocks and checkpoints in the country reportedly delay delivery of goods, raise transportation costs and limit free movement of commodities, people and investments.
