“Tuned City” Discovers Sound and Space of Tallinn

A fascinating cross-section of international artists, performers, scientists and thinkers will be brought together to present their approaches to sound and space. Further, “Tuned City” has invited four vibrant contemporary performers for a series of evening concerts. Charles Curtis, Charlemagne Palestine, Thomas Ankersmit and Maja S.K. Ratkje will address the topic of sound and space through four individual music performances. Each artist will play his/her instrument – the cello, the organ, the saxophone and voice – and engage in dialog with a variety of spaces, from the warm, wooden intimacy of a 14th century horse mill to the cold, concrete depth of Soviet-era industrial structures.
