In the period leading up to 2020, Norway’s Statnett is planning to establish four new cable connections between Norway and continental Europe, with a total capacity of up to 4200 MW. Stanett says more international interconnectors will aid the development of tomorrow’s energy supply in Norway and Europe, based on renewable energy.
