Drake Landing Solar Community Surpasses Targets

On Tuesday, May 25, the Drake Landing Solar Community, Natural Resources Canada and project partners will mark the significant accomplishment of being the first thermal solar community in the world to have 80 percent of its annual space heating requirement provided by solar thermal energy. A live performance Web site to track key functions of the community’s solar collection, storage and heating system will be launched. Tours of the Drake Landing Solar Community Energy Centre, the solar thermal system and some homes will be offered after the ceremonies. Read More
