The University of Salzburg Centre for Geoinformatics is looking to fill a managing position within the UNIGIS distance education program – www.unigis.net. We expect candidates to hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and represent a sub-field of GIScience / Geoinformatics in depth. Communication in English and German, a team-oriented working style and a track record of successfully managing teams / projects are essential.
Interest in curricula, development of eLearning media, distance education and simply a dedication to teaching will be considered as important assets. Experience in supervising academic work and teaching in GIS are indispensable.
