Trimble Launches New Version of ConstructJob Project Management Solution Providing Integration with QuickPen AutoBid Mechanical Estimating Application

  • Rating12345

Trimble introduced Trimble® ConstructJob, an updated version of the Accubid Web-based project management solution for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades. In addition to supporting Accubid mechanical and electrical estimating applications, the new Trimble ConstructJob now supports integration with the QuickPen AutoBid® Mechanical estimating application.

The QuickPen integration enables contractors to sync estimated material and equipment needs to the ConstructJob solution, providing a fluid method for tracking what has been purchased to what was originally estimated. The Trimble ConstructJob Web-based project management solution provides centralized and enterprise wide access for managing and collaborating on contracts, changes, purchase orders, billings, job costs, and daily reports as well as key project documentation. Trimble ConstructJob is Trimble’s next step in providing interoperable hardware and software solutions for the building construction industry. With a broad range of CAD, estimating and fabrication solutions from its Accubid and QuickPen Divisions, Trimble can now provide a single source to its contractor customer base to manage all aspects of a project. “The ability to easily connect the estimating process directly into the project management discipline is central to cost containment and overall financial accountability,” said Pat Bohle, general manager of Trimble’s Building Construction Division. “Our customers now have the opportunity to access a  24×7 Web-based environment, using industry leading estimating tools to sync cost data to a centralized project management solution in real-time.”

Trimble ConstructJob is currently available through Trimble’s Accubid Division by calling 800-222-8243. For more information, visit:  http://constructjob.trimble.com.
