SuperGIS Server 3 to Support Map Cache

SuperGeo Technologies announced that its SuperGIS Server 3 is going to support the map cache function soon for speedy map processing functionality. Developed by SuperGeo Technologies, SuperGIS Server 3, the map server software, enables enterprises to create, manage, integrate, and publish diversified GIS services in the centralized server framework. Assorted spatial data, images, and GIS functions can be applied to SuperGIS Desktop, SuperPad, and web browsers as GIS services through the Internet. Therefore, the productivity and the workflow of corporations related to GIS can be significantly improved.

With the map cache support function of SuperGIS Server, the administrator will be allowed to set the extent, format and scale of map cache, and the map services will be drawn as images at multiple scales and saved in the server.

When browsing the map extent, the front-end users can enjoy the instant cached images, swift map display offered by the server. In this way, users are able to zoom in, zoom out, pan, and query the map more effectively.
