Simple Introduction to Home Automation

  • Rating12345

Siemens is simplifying the introduction of home automation by provid-ing its Synco living system with a user-friendly expansion, which al-lows users to operate the home automation system conveniently over the Internet from any PC. In addition, Siemens recently began offering an inexpensive basis set featuring a room unit and up to six radiator controllers, thus providing houses and apartments with an environmen-tally-friendly, state-of-the-art heating control system. Synco living offers both comfort and safety. Time switch programs enable users to heat or ventilate each room individually. A remote control is also available for operating light switches and blinds and for switching electrical systems such as fountains, aquarium lights, or even a home’s entire lighting system on and off at the push of a button. Synco living also monitors windows and doors, controls lighting to simulate the presence of people, and notifies users if smoke builds up anywhere in the house. The device also notices if batteries are dead, if systems are down, and if the refrigerator door is open. Read More
