Brazil is the world leader in climate policy. It has the most ambitious goals for reducing emissions and has already achieved a 67% reduction in its deforestation rate since 2005. This event will present the most current developments on REDD+ and low emissions development in Brazil, from the national to the local levels, and from the perspective of evolving markets for agricultural commodities, community and indigenous groups, and state and federal governments.
