Geodata Sistemas, S.L., a leading GIS services company based in Barcelona, Spain has entered a reseller agreement with OpenGeo, a global leader in open source geospatial solutions. The partnership will enable regional access to the OpenGeo Suite, a fully integrated open source geospatial platform. Geodata Sistemas will provide support for the OpenGeo Suite in Spain and Andorra.
Geodata Sistemas specializes in the analysis, management, and edition of georeferenced data, and will assume the first line of support for the OpenGeo Suite in Spain for its local clientele. The OpenGeo Suite is a complete, OGC standards-compliant web mapping platform built on cutting-edge open source geospatial components. These interoperable components, including GeoServer, OpenLayers, GeoWebCache, PostGIS and GeoExt, are developed and maintained by active open source communities. Enterprise users may utilize its coherent and powerful software stack, while relying on the support of a single, stable vendor.
