Norway has the most expensive diesel fuel in Europe, and the high fuel costs affect both the Norwegian transport industry and the nation’s farmers, the newspaper Nationen writes. Last week the cost of diesel at the pumps was on average NOK 14.00. Minus taxes the cost was NOK 11.20 per litre. Only Germany has higher basic price for diesel with NOK 11.50 per litre.
