Mitsubishi Announces High Resolution Display for CAD/CAM

  • Rating12345

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics Americas Presentation Products Division, known for award-winning, high-quality presentation and display products, has introduced the HL650U, its newest SXGA+ (1400 x 1050 pixels) resolution high-brightness LCD projector, designed for applications requiring high, accurate details and vivid colors such as CAD/CAM, geographical and tactical mapping, medical imaging and virtual simulation. The HL650U blasts 3100 ANSI lumens for a bright, clear image even in high-ambient light settings such as large classrooms or meeting rooms with windows.

Easy set-up features include digital vertical and horizontal keystone correction and an option that allows users to match selected background wall colors including beige, blue, green, pink and blackboard. Once the color is chosen the projector then automatically adjusts its color gamma to create the best image possible on that surface, making set-up in classrooms and conference rooms a breeze.

The HL650U is perfect for high-level briefings or meetings where a large amount of detail needs to be clearly magnified, said James Chan, director of product marketing for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics Americas Presentation Product Division. Even minute details appear crisp and clear so viewers get a better understanding of what they see.

A side-loading lamp also makes lamp replacement quick, simple and efficient. Users dont have to remove the whole projector from its mount; they just extract the old lamp from the side and replace it saving time and money. Network management is also simple and easy with the HL650Us embedded ProjectorView and RJ45 connectivity for LAN asset management control of up to 200 projectors. Its RS232c connection makes it simple to integrate with third-party control systems and an anti-theft security anchor is included to deter unapproved removal.

Suggested Pricing, Availability, Warranty

The new HL650U is offered at a suggested retail price of $4995 and is available from Mitsubishis professional dealer network. The projector carries Mitsubishis award-winning three-year limited warranty on parts and labor and its exclusive three-year Express Replacement Assistance program.

Our customers require the most precise imaging technology in this demanding market, added Chan. The HL650U meets and exceeds those needs.
