Microsoft Re-joins the Open Geospatial Consortium

Yesterday Microsoft officially became a member of the OGC, rejoining after a multi year hiatus. VE’s Vincent Tao and Ed Katibah from the SQL Server team were instrumental in working with the OGC to resolve the issues needed to rejoin. More news on this is on the way jointly from Microsoft and OGC
