Premier Ed Stelmach says nothing short of the province’s future growth is at stake during the spring sitting of the Alberta legislature. The government plans to revise two land-use laws it says are critical to solving the power and planning needs of a rapidly growing population. But those same laws have had cabinet members and government legislature members on the run in recent months.
