Intergraph Announces Launch of Geospatial SDI 2013

  • Rating12345

Intergraph announces the release of Geospatial SDI 2013 as part of Intergraph Geospatial Portfolio 2013.  An interoperable and scalable spatial data infrastructure for cataloging and delivering enterprise geospatial data over the web, Geospatial SDI 2013 is designed for data providers that need to manage and serve secure or licensed information using standards-based web services.

Adhering to OGC, INSPIRE and ISO standards for web services and metadata compliance, Geospatial SDI can extend those offered in GeoMedia WebMap and ERDAS APOLLO. Geospatial SDI provides the full set of services required of SDI implementations. It also provides tools for managing, monitoring and reporting of service performance.

“Many data providers leverage standards-based web services for managing and sharing geospatial information,” said Mladen Stojic, Vice President – Geospatial, Intergraph.  “The enhanced Geospatial SDI 2013 will allow these organizations to leverage the right spatial data infrastructure for cataloging and delivering enterprise geospatial data over the web.”

New features of Geospatial SDI 2013 include :

  • Repackaging:  Geospatial SDI 2013, formerly GeoMedia SDI Pro, now contains the features and functionality of the former product and includes additional new functionality.
  • New Administration Console:  A new web-based administration console provides the means for creating and configuring all aspects of server-side engines, web services and web applications in one place. Web service instances for any type of service can be created, configured and removed, including OGC and INSPIRE service metadata, and monitoring and logging capabilities.
  • All Web Services Meet OGC and INSPIRE Specifications: New performance monitoring and logging is provided for these standards.
  • Catalog Editor:  The catalog editing utility is now bundled with the product, allowing users to create, edit, and delete catalog metadata record.
