Indian Surveyors to Fill Local Shortfall

Authorities will seek the help of Indian surveyors to demarcate 100,000 blocks of Mahaweli land which is to be distributed among the public. Irrigation and Water Management Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said as his ministry is unable to find adequate surveyors locally from state and private sectors, the ministry had sought the services of Indian surveyors to complete the task.
