Implement Computerised Land Registration System in Sabah Call

Umno Youth Keningau has requested the State Government to adopt a more appropriate system to improve the state’s land management, particularly those relating to land applications. Its chief, Azman Haji Ruslan said the time has come for State Government to consider the implementation of a computerised land registration system (CLRS) in Sabah, like what is currently adopted by the central government. “The CLRS comes under the purview of the Department of Land and Mines in peninsular Malaysia, but the State Government can obtain assistance from them to implement the system in the Land and Survey department,” Azman said yesterday.
