Graduate Marine Science Students Head to the Mediterranean Sea

In June 2011, the UK’s National Oceanography Centre (NOC) is to take part in an ambitious project to ‘spread the word’ about marine research and the importance and vulnerability of the world’s oceans, with particular focus on the Mediterranean and Ligurian/northern Tyrrhenian Seas. The project, ‘Environmental Impacts Know No Boundaries: A Marine Environmental Workshop for Graduate Students from Mediterranean Nations’ is to be hosted by the ENEA Marine Environment Research Centre, La Spezia, Italy, June 5-17, 2011, and is sponsored by EcoOcean and Environmental Ocean Team.
