Egypt, Saudi Arabia to Issue Power Linkage Tender

Ministries of electricity in Egypt and Saudi Arabia decided to make a tender to erect Egyptian-Saudi power linkage project by the mid of April 2011, said Minister of Electricity and Energy Hassan Younis. The project is to be carried out as of January 2012. Younis said that the project is a sort of power exchange between the two countries. The exchange capability would reach 3000 megawatt in summer. Read More
