Climate change could cause temperatures to rise 3 to 4 degrees Celcius and rainfall to drop 40 percent by the end of the century, if the people of Santiago continue their current habits, says a recent Universidad de Santiago de Chile study. University scientists launched a study into the effects of these changes on the city’s residents.
