Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Center (ADSIC) won the Arab eContent Award 2011, in its second edition held recently, for the geospatial portal “Geoportal.Abudhabi.ae,” in the “e-Government” category. The Award was given during the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The Forum was attended by more than 800 ICT experts, officials, and decision makers from different parts of the world, along with keynote speakers, and representatives from top companies, global institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
