Sweden contributes SEK 100 Million to Combat the Food Crisis

SWEDEN GOV – The Government has given an additional grant to the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), which is to be used primarily to support small-scale agriculture in developing countries. Up to 25 per cent is to be used by IFAD, in cooperation with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), to pay for technical expertise to support small-scale agricultural projects.
