Norway and Spain to Share New Satellite

NORWAY POST – Norway and Spain have signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the acquisition and operation of a joint communications satellite. Norway’s share is estimated to cost NOK 1.2 billion, plus operating costs. The aim to improve communications with Norwegian forces deployed in countries like Afghanistan and Chad, and with naval units on international missions.
