World Water Forum African Water Ministers Meet in Banjul

The African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW) is currently meeting in Banjul to validate the Regional Synthesis Report ahead of the 6th Alternative World Water Forum (FAME), which will take place from 14-17 March 2012 in Marseilles, France. AMCOW was formed by 41 African ministers responsible for water, to promote cooperation, security, socio-economic development and poverty eradication through the management of water resources and the provision of water supply services.
