Research Network to Focus on Barents Development

BARENTS OBSERVER – Arctic Centre in Rovaniemi will head the network together with Russian, Norwegian and Swedish colleagues. A two year grant is given to the Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland in Finland to build a research network focusing on political and economic development in the Barents Region from the perspective of sustainable development.
