My mother-in-law likes to use public transport. Why wouldn’t she, as a trip from her home in Espoo to the centre of Helsinki is easy. Numerous bus lines are running just a couple of hundred metres away from her home, two of which will whisk her to Helsinki’s Kamppi in 20 minutes. In a few years’ time, we will be facing a new age. My mother-in-law will walk to the same bus stop. This time she will be waiting for a feeder bus, which will take her not to Helsinki but to Matinkylä, next to the Iso Omena shopping centre. Read More
