What Makes a City Great?

Canada offers at least three great cities – Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. Toronto is the largest city in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America, located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario. The city is really about its the people, hence it shouldn’t be surprising the name “Toronto” comes from a Huron word meaning “meeting place” which translates into a multicultural environment inclusive of 4.5 million people and 70 nationalities. While there is much to see and do in Toronto, it’s the residents who give the city its special cachet.
