Transport System in 6 Saudi Cities Set for Major Overhaul

The Kingdom, which is losing a whopping sum of SR81 billion annually because of the growing number of road accidents, has announced an ambitious plan to overhaul the transport system in six major Saudi cities. “The plan in the first phase aims to set up a comprehensive public transport system in these cities that is more reliable and efficient,” said Minister of Transport Jabara Al-Seraisry, who was chairing a session of the Riyadh Economic Forum (REF) on Sunday.
