The Farmers and Graziers Association has announced a plan to seek a share of the Commonwealth’s $10b. water fund. Irrigators, dairy farmers and representatives from Hyro Tasmania and the Water Department have gathered on a farm outside Launceston to discuss the future of the state’s agriculture sector.
